Lessons at Edelweiss
At Edelweiss, we put safety as an absolute priority for the rider and for the horse.
We use a confidence-building method of instruction, to establish a strong foundation of balanced riding.
Edelweiss is an English riding facility, but we are open to providing lessons in Western saddles for special requests. Whether you are interested in learning to ride and compete, or if you just want to know the basics and be safe in the saddle for trail riding, Edelweiss welcomes you.
We are only able to do private lessons at this time.
Riding Lessons
Children's Beginner English Riding Lessons:

$40 for a 1 hour
The child must be at least 5 years old and in good physical health. A parent or person over the age of 16 must be present at all times. Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and an SEI Certified helmet must be worn by ALL rider participants. A liability form and rider health form must be filled out and signed before the child will be allowed to begin lessons.

*All lessons are weather-permitting & will be rescheduled in the event of inclement or extreme weather.
Private Adult Beginner & Intermediate Lessons
$40/lesson for 1 hour lesson
By appointment only
Beginner riders must be less than 200 lbs, less than 5'10" in height and in good overall health* *Riders that are over 200 lbs with some riding experience ok. Our beginner horses are small and cannot accomodate taller, heavier riders.
